Weeping Willow of the Lake is a subarea located in Erinnyes Forest, Fontaine.
It is a large willow tree that grows at the center of a lake in Erinnyes Forest. Its roots seem to extend underwater.
The willow's condition is tied to the health of the water veins.[1] Prior to cleansing the Roots of Erinnyes during the World Quest Series The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes, the entire lake area appears a sickly yellow. Afterwards, it turns a vibrant blue. The change is correspondingly reflected on the Map.

In ancient times, the weeping willow of the lake was an object of reverence. All the water veins converge upon Erinnyes and the weeping willow flourishes or withers when the waters are sweet or bitter. The land of the lake is the same... Shame, then, that omens only arrive on the same moon as calamity.
