The Illumiscreen: II is the first request in Part II of the Lantern Rite Tales event. It is also the second quest of the event World Quest series: Beneath Splendent Lanterns.
Steps[]
- Talk to Brother Qian at night (21:00 – 05:00)
- Complete "Illumiscreen: Mora"
- Examine "Illumiscreen: Mora"
- Find the treasure area indicated by the Illumiscreen (0/3)
- Obtain 3 Precious Chests at each location and an additional 3 Exquisite Chest at the final location
- Huaguang Stone Forest: On top of a rock pillar
- Complete the time trial challenge
- Bishui Plain: Close to a house ruins
- Dig up the chest
- Guili Plains: On top of a rock
- Huaguang Stone Forest: On top of a rock pillar
- Obtain 3 Precious Chests at each location and an additional 3 Exquisite Chest at the final location
- Find the treasure
- Talk to Brother Qian
Gameplay Notes[]
- To complete Illumiscreen: Mora, simply rotate the central lantern, then the left one and finally the one on the right. Unless the order is randomized for each player, this should work.
- The Time Trial Challenge in Huaguang Stone Forest counts toward the achievement Rock-Steady Adventurer.Similarly, guiding the three Seelies to their respective courts in Guili Plains counts towards the achievement Lithic Guide.The three Precious Chests also count towards the achievement Rock-Steady Treasure Hunter.

Huh? These lanterns...- Brother Qian: Ah, it's you. You've come at a good time. I've changed to a new set of lanterns since the last time you were here.
- Brother Qian: Fancy giving it a try, seeing if you can solve this one? It won't be as easy as last time.
- Why? Is the image more complex?
- Brother Qian: No, no. The image is easy to spot, and there are still only three parts to combine.
- Brother Qian: The difficulty this time has to do with the lantern rotation part.
Is the lantern rotation more difficult?
- Brother Qian: Hehehe, this time the three lanterns are linked together.
- Brother Qian: To put it simply, when you rotate a lantern, there's a possibility that one of the other ones will rotate, too.
- Brother Qian: Give it a go, you'll see what I mean.
- Brother Qian: Okay, so, the image to make today is Mora. Remember, you have to get the right image first before you can go looking for the treasure.
- (Talk to Brother Qian again)
- Brother Qian: The image to try and make today is Mora.
- (Talk to Brother Qian after solving the Illumiscreen)
- Brother Qian: You've solved it already? You're becoming very good at this very quickly. Go and study the image, there's a treasure clue hidden in it.
- (Examine the Illumiscreen)
- Paimon: This picture looks like... Mora.
- Paimon: Still, where are the clues to the treasure?
- (Talk to Brother Qian after examining the Illumiscreen)
- Brother Qian: The treasure has all been prepared specially by the Guild. Happy hunting.
- (Approach location in Bishui Plain)
- Paimon: It feels like this should be the place...
- Paimon: Hmm, let's have a careful look around.
- (Talk to Brother Qian after collecting all treasures)
- Brother Qian: How is the treasure hunt going?
- I've found every last chest.
- Brother Qian: All of it? You're quite the expert treasure hunter, then... Plenty of people give up and walk off after the first try...
- Brother Qian: Since you found all the treasure... Please take these as your prize. Happy Lantern Rite!
