Test Run - Character Trial Event is a Recurring Event that allow players to try out the promoted characters' gameplay in special Domains for a Character Trial. The character's combat specs are fixed, and food items cannot be used. By completing each challenge for the first time, players can gain various rewards such as Primogems, Adventurer's Experience, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Mora, Local Specialties, Character and Weapon Enhancement Materials.
There are Test Runs for each of the characters featured on the current Character Event Wish. Exceptions to this are the characters who are obtained for free (i.e. Noelle and Xiangling), although they can still appear in other character's test runs as secondary trial characters. Barbara, Collei, Lynette and Kachina had character trials upon their releases, and are now used as secondary trial characters.
To start a Test Run, open the Paimon Menu and choose the Events button, which will list the current Test Run, permanent events not yet completed, and other limited time events currently running.

Event Rules[]
- During the character trial event "Test Run," you can use fixed lineups containing the selected trial characters to enter specific stages and test them out.
- The trial characters will have a fixed level and will come with a set of weapons and artifacts. The lineup and characters' equipped weapons and artifacts cannot be changed.
- Additional Elemental Orbs will drop during trial event challenges to facilitate the testing of the trial characters' Elemental Bursts.
- Once the stage challenge is complete, you may collect your rewards upon exiting the stage or stay within the stage to continue trying the characters out.
- The trial stage can be repeated, but its challenge completion rewards may only be collected once.
- Some in-game functions may be disabled or only partially displayed during trial stages.

  Navia | 20 Primogem | When Navia or other party members collect Elemental Shards created by the Crystallize reaction, Navia gains Crystal Shrapnel. When her Elemental Skill is tapped, all Shrapnel stacks will be consumed to fire Rosula Shardshots. The more Shrapnel stacks consumed, the more Shardshots that will be fired, and the greater the damage that can be dealt. When her Elemental Skill is Held, Navia enters Aiming Mode before firing, and will continually pick up nearby Elemental Shards while aiming. In addition, her Elemental Skill is able to deal Ousia-aligned Geo DMG at intervals. Her Elemental Burst bombards opponents in front of her, dealing AoE Geo DMG, and will periodically deal Geo DMG to nearby opponents after. |      |
  Ifa | Ifa's Elemental Skill causes him to hover and move swiftly with Cacucu's help. During this time, Ifa will fire Tonicshots that can heal all party members when he Taps or Holds his Normal Attack. His Elemental Burst fires a Therapeutic Sedative that explodes upon hit, pulling nearby objects and opponents in and dealing AoE Anemo DMG. When the Therapeutic Sedative hits an opponent affected by Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, it will deal AoE DMG of the corresponding Element. To facilitate experiencing the character's Elemental Burst and Nightsoul's Blessing state, additional Elemental Orbs will appear in the trial stage, and more objects will provide Phlogiston. |    | |
 Ororon | Ororon's Elemental Skill throws a Spirit Orb at enemies, dealing Electro DMG. When other opponents are nearby, the Spirit Orb will bounce between them, dealing additional DMG. Each opponent can only be selected as a target once. Ororon's Elemental Burst deals AoE Electro DMG and summons forth a Supersonic Oculus that continuously taunts and attacks nearby opponents, dealing Electro DMG. After nearby party members trigger a Nightsoul Burst, or when other party members deal Hydro or Electro DMG within a certain period of time after Ororon uses his Elemental Skill, Ororon will accumulate Nightsoul points. When nearby opponents take Electro-Charged reaction DMG or Nightsoul-aligned DMG dealt by other characters, Ororon will consume Nightsoul points and enter the Nightsoul's Blessing state, triggering the Hypersense effect and dealing Electro DMG to at most 4 nearby opponents.  Layla |  15,000 Mora | Layla's Elemental Skill puts forth a shield known as the Curtain of Slumber for party members. Nigth Stars will be created both by the shield itself and when the character within uses an Elemental Skill. Once the Curtain of Slumber has accumulated 4 Night Stars and there are opponents nearby, these Night Stars will transform into homing Shooting Stars, dealing Cryo DMG. Layla's Elemental Burst will unleash a Celestial Dreamsphere that constantly attacks nearby opponents, dealing Cryo DMG. When its attack hits, it will generate 1 Night Star for nearby Curtains of Slumber. |   |
