Sumeru City is a subarea and a main city located in Avidya Forest, Dharma Forest, Sumeru.

Sumeru City is known across Teyvat as the "City of Wisdom."^[1] It is under the jurisdiction of the Sumeru Akademiya and is built on top of the Divine Tree.^[2]

The city features many districts and points of interest, such as the Grand Bazaar, Zubayr Theater, Treasures Street, and more. Located in the middle to top half of the tree is The Akademiya, which serves as the main base of the Sumeru Akademiya. On top of The Akademiya rests the Sanctuary of Surasthana, which is a treetop palace where Lesser Lord Kusanali resides.

Bimarstan	Bimarstan is located just southeast of the city's northwestern Teleport Waypoint. It is a hospital run by the Akademiya which provides free healthcare to all Sumeru residents.
Grand Bazaar	The Grand Bazaar is known as a lively, artistic space, filled with merchants selling handmade products.^[3] The people of the Grand Bazaar are mostly ordinary people who seek a steady life.^[4] There are three entrances to the Grand Bazaar from Sumeru City.
Lambad's Tavern	Lambad's Tavern is run by Lambad and is the main restaurant for Sumeru.
The Akademiya	The Akademiya is Sumeru Akademiya's main building, built upon the Divine Tree. The House of Daena, the Akademiya's library, is located at the heart of the building.
Treasures Street	Treasures Street is the liveliest street in Sumeru City.
