    • "Exalted Ones" will obtain buff effects; adding them to your party will help you complete the challenge.

Tutorials[]

Stygian Onslaught
You must select a difficulty for Stygian Onslaught challenges. As the difficulty increases, the challenges will start featuring Ley Line Disturbances, which affect combat. Your opponents will also grow trickier to deal with.

Completing a more difficult challenge will also let you obtain the rewards from the difficulties below that one.

After you enter a challenge, you must head to 3 separate battlefields and complete 3 time-limited battles. The challenge is considered complete for this difficulty once all opponents in the 3 battlefields are beaten.

After all players complete challenges on Dire in Solo mode, their current party will be granted "Eminence," and when they complete Dire challenges while completing Perilous Objectives, the current party will be granted the more powerful "Enduring Eminence." Every player cannot have a single character repeatedly receive "Eminence" or "Enduring Eminence" from the same source, and any of the latter a character receives will replace the former if the character previously had it. A character with sufficient "Eminence" will become an "Exalted One," granting them "Eminent Boons" in Normal, Advancing, Hard, Menacing, and Fearless challenges, which will assist players in completing them quickly.

Two hours after Stygian Onslaught challenges unlock, data on "Exalted Ones" will be updated based on all Travelers' challenge results. After this, that information will update every day at 04:00 AM (GMT+8/GMT+1/GMT-5).
There can be a maximum of 16 "Exalted Ones" at any one time, and when data updates occur, characters with the most "Eminence" will become the new "Exalted Ones."

You can invite teammates to take part in Co-Op challenges while in Co-Op Mode. When multiple players enter the challenge, your opponents' combat power will change to that of the corresponding Co-Op difficulty, and will not continue to change based on the number of players doing the challenge.
Co-Op challenge results will be recorded separately, and you can check said records at any time. However, only Single-Player Mode challenge records can be displayed.

The first 10 days after the challenge becomes available will be a period of "Outbreak". During this time, players with Adventure Rank 45 and above can challenge stages at "Hard" difficulty onwards, and upon completing them, can consume Original Resin, Condensed Resin, Fragile Resin, or Transient Resin to revitalize special disturbance-affected Ley Line Blossoms and earn 1×/2×/3× the rewards from their chosen Domains of Blessing.

Consuming Original Resin, Condensed Resin, Fragile Resin (or Transient Resin) will award 20/40/60 "Dire Prestige" respectively. When you accumulate 120 "Dire Prestige", an additional random 5-star Artifact will be obtained as a phase reward from the two sets available in the Domain of Blessing you selected.
When you accumulate 1,200 "Dire Prestige," you will also obtain an additional "Dire Commendation."
Normal, Advancing, and Hard
In Normal, Advancing, and Hard challenges, you can adjust your party composition before every battle, and there are no character restrictions.

In Co-Op Mode, the leader shall select and start the challenge.

Press the button on the left side of the minimap to review challenge information.
Menacing, Fearless, and Dire
In Menacing, Fearless, and Dire challenges, characters that take part in one battle will not be able to participate in the following ones, along with their equipped Weapons and Artifacts.

In Single-Player challenges, you can adjust your party composition before every battle. However, if you modify a composition that already has challenge records, you will have to reset that corresponding record.

Additionally, when you complete a battle, if you have a character in your current party who is using Weapons or Artifacts used in other battlefields, you will have to reset any conflicting challenge records if you wish to save the current one.

In Co-Op Mode, the leader shall select and start the challenge, and no one will be able to adjust their party composition or their characters' Weapons and Artifacts during the challenge.

Press the button on the left side of the minimap to review challenge information.

Challenges[]

Normal[]

Challenge Objectives
  • Defeat powerful foes on 3 battlefields
Ley Line Disturbance
  • Exalted Ones will receive an Eminent Boon
Opposing Lineup
Enemy Descriptions
Pyro has an advantage, Hydro has a disadvantage
  • Will absorb Half-Tulpas that emerge during the challenge at intervals to enhance itself. Use attacks or Elemental Reactions to destroy Half-Tulpas in time or Freeze them to interrupt this absorption.
Helping Half-Tulpa

1 Half-Tulpa will emerge during the challenge at intervals. After some time, the Hydro Tulpa will absorb Half-Tulpas to enhance itself: It will grow larger, its ATK will increase, and it will launch more dangerous attacks.
Use attacks or Elemental Reactions to destroy Half-Tulpas in time or Freeze them to interrupt this absorption.

Dendro and Pyro have an advantage, Cryo and Hydro have a disadvantage
  • Has two forms. Its initial form possesses higher All RES. After it takes a certain number of Pyro DMG instances, it will enter its second form, in which all RES apart from Pyro RES is greatly decreased. After it goes on to take a certain number of additional Pyro DMG instances, it will take immense DMG and be immobilized. This will also cause its All RES to be further decreased.
  • After taking Hydro DMG or Cryo DMG, it will gradually return to the higher-RES initial form.
Dual Pyroclast

Starts in the Geohuman form, which possesses higher All Elemental and Physical RES. After it takes a certain number of Pyro DMG instances, it will completely enter its Molten Dragon form, in which All Elemental and Physical RES apart from Pyro RES is greatly decreased. After it goes on to take Pyro DMG, it will progressively take additional DMG. If it takes a certain number of additional Pyro DMG instances while in Molten Dragon form, it will enter Overburn, falling down and becoming immobilized. This will also cause its All Elemental and Physical RES to be further decreased. After being immobilized for a time, it will return to Geohuman form.

Cooldown Effect

After taking Hydro DMG or Cryo DMG, it will gradually return to the higher-RES Geohuman form.

Cryo has an advantage
  • Will enter Sweeper Mode while in combat: All RES is greatly increased, and it will perform rotating attacks while generating Flow Momentum. It will lose Flow Momentum after taking Cryo DMG. Below a certain Flow Momentum value, it will temporarily stop rotating and attacking, and its All RES will be greatly decreased.
  • If an active character enters and maintains the Nightsoul's Blessing state for a time, this opponent will enter Counterstrike Mode and switch to attacking with tracking rays. At this time, its All RES will be greatly decreased.
Sweeper Mode

Will enter Sweeper Mode while in combat: All Elemental and Physical RES is greatly increased, and it will generate Flow Momentum while performing attacks. The higher its Flow Momentum, the faster it will rotate and the more DMG it will deal.
It will lose Flow Momentum after taking Cryo DMG. Below a certain Flow Momentum value, it will stop rotating and attacking, and its All Elemental and Physical RES will be greatly decreased, with its Cryo RES decreasing still more.

Counterstrike Mode

If an active character enters and maintains the Nightsoul's Blessing state for a time, this opponent will enter Counterstrike Mode and switch to attacking with tracking rays. At this time, its All Elemental and Physical RES will be decreased.
In this state, after it takes a certain number of Cryo DMG instances, it will cease attacking altogether and its All Elemental and Physical RES will be further decreased.

Descriptions[]

In the 10 days after the challenge is available, the Ley Line disturbance will be in an "Outbreak" state. During this period, players will have the chance to earn additional challenge rewards.

Reward Setting and Collection
1. Before the challenge, players can choose a Domain of Blessing they have unlocked. The highest-level drops from that Domain will be the challenge rewards.
2. In "Hard," "Menacing," "Fearless," or "Dire" difficulty challenges, a special disturbance-affected Ley Line Blossom will appear. Players with Adventure Rank 45 and above can consume Original Resin to revitalize such Ley Line Blossoms and claim the corresponding rewards. 2. When "Dire Prestige" reaches 120, an additional random 5-star Artifact will be obtained from the two sets available in the Domain selected by the player as a phase reward.
3. When "Dire Prestige" reaches 1,200, an additional "Dire Commendation" can be obtained.

Friendship
1. When activating a Ley Line Blossom, the character(s) active when the battle is completed will obtain Companionship EXP.

Disturbance Outbreak
Record Rules
1. For every cycle of "Stygian Onslaught," the results of Single-Player and Co-Op challenges will be recorded separately.
2. Best records will only record your highest-difficulty challenge performance for the current cycle. For records with the same difficulty, the one with the shortest total clearance time will be recorded. If both clearance time and difficulty are identical, then the most recent attempt will be recorded.

Checking Friends' Battle Records
1. You can view friends' single-player challenge records.
2. When viewing a friend's records, if a record is from the current period's "Menacing" difficulty or higher, you can also view the weapon and Artifact configurations for characters in their party.
