Strange Eels are an underwater exploration mechanic in Fontaine currently found in the Liffey Region, Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Region and Morte Region.
These strange eels must be attacked with a Xenochromatic ability. When there are multiple strange els involved in one location, they must be attacked at the same time, otherwise the attacked eel will quickly respawn.
Holding down the Xenochromatic Jellyfish's ability will result in a large explosion when detonated.
