- ↑ Chinese: 霓裳 Nícháng refers to rainbow-colored clothing worn by xian (immortals). It may also refer to a song from the Tang dynasty, "Raiment of Rainbows and Feathers" (Chinese: 霓裳羽衣曲).
- ↑ Russian: Here, Шелковица Shelkovitsa does not use its dictionary definition, which is the word for mulberry trees or fruit.
Instead, it is formed from the adjective шёлковый shyolkovyy, "(relational) silk" + the noun-forming suffix -ица -itsa.
