Qiongji Estuary (Chinese: 琼玑野 Qióngjī-yě) is an area located in Liyue.
Subareas[]
There are 4 subareas in Qiongji Estuary:
Name | Description |
---|---|
Guili Plains | The Guili Plains was the central area of the Guili Assembly, the ancient civilization ruled by Guizhong, the God of Dust, and Morax, the God of Geo. The location's name is derived from their names,[Note 1] and it is also called the Plains of Returning and Departing based on the characters taken from their names. During the Archon War, Guizhong died trying to defend her people, and the place was destroyed. After her death, Rex Lapis took his people and brought them south of Mt. Tianheng, where he established Liyue Harbor. |
Luhua Pool | Luhua Pool is a unique landscape consisting of brightly-colored pools, watched over by two statues. |
Mingyun Village | Mingyun Village is home to several scattered mining deposits, but many of them have since dried up, with the remaining few ores unable to keep up the village's survival. The inhabitants have since left westward towards Liyue Harbor and The Chasm for a better opportunity. Hilichurls have since moved in to the area to make use of the leftover facilities. Three small mining tunnels exist in the area around the village where one can find deposits of Iron Chunks, Noctilucous Jade, and Cor Lapis. |
Yaoguang Shoal | Yaoguang Shoal lies south of Mingyun Village and east of Guili Plains. To the far east side of Yaoguang Shoal is an unnamed "hidden" location dubbed Heart Island by players, for the heart-shaped puzzle located on the island. Unlocking the Luxurious Chest buried on the island requires standing on the heart with another player in Co-Op, and grants the Wonders of the World achievement Unswerving. |
