Beginner's Protector

Polearms are one of the 5 possible weapons that characters can use in Genshin Impact. Polearms have the fastest attacks of all the weapons and good forward reach.

Normal Attacks

A Polearm user's normal attack chain typically consists of 5-6 rapid melee attacks.

Charged Attacks

There are currently only 2 Polearm users in the game, and they have drastically-different charged attacks. Xiangling is able to drive her polearm through enemies with her charged attack, Dough-Fu while Xiao is able to dive into the ground, crashing into enemies if he is high enough in the air with his charged attack, Whirlwind Thrust.
