- Deployed transformer will be dismissed if limited event combat occurred after deployment which limits the field. Eg: Diluc's Red Dead event.
Parametric Transformer is a mysterious artifact found in the World Quest Tianqiu Treasure Trail.
This device can be placed on a valid surface and interacted with to deposit and transmute non-event items. A total quality of 150 or above needs to be added to initiate transmutation. (See Fuel Type on quality.)
A progress bar appears above the device and the player may use attacks that do Elemental Damage to charge it. If the device is placed next to an environmental hazard that deals Elemental Damage, such as an Electro Crystal, this will also charge it. When the device is fully charged, it disappears and the player will obtain various rewards. (See Possible Rewards.)
This device has a cooldown of 6 days 22 hours (rounded up to 7 days in the gadget description) after it is used.
Gauge Meter[]
18 elemental attacks are required to fully charge up the parametric transformer, including player-dealt damage and environmental damage. The gauge unit of the elemental attack does not matter — for example, both the 2B application from Bennett's Elemental Skill and 1A application from Diluc's Elemental Skill will charge up around 5%. There is a 0.4s cooldown between each instance of charging. This cooldown is not to be confused with the regular Internal Cooldown on elemental application, which does not take effect when charging the Parametric Transformer.

Descriptions[]
Notes[]
- Parametric Transformer can only be used or interacted while not in-combat state.
- Deployed transformer will be dismissed if player moved too far or if player aggroed a nearby enemy. Fuel used will not be returned but kept for next deployment.
- Using the Parametric Transformer for the first time grants the Wonders of the World achievement Transmutation Nuclide.
Possible Rewards[]
The player can receive 5–10 sets of items from the following groups. It has been observed that the most likely number of sets are between 5 and 7, with a rare chance of receiving 8–10 sets.[1]
It is possible to receive more than one set from the same group. The number of sets received does not appear to be affected by the quality of materials used in the transmutation.

Fuel Type[]
The quality of Character and Weapon Enhancement Materials depends on the tier of the material, while all other items have a quality of 1.
Tier | Examples | Quality |
---|---|---|
- | 1 | |
1 | 1 | |
2 | 2 | |
3 | 4 |
The type of material used appear to increase the chance of receiving certain reward categories. (See Reward Distribution.) This observation is supported by statistical analyses from the Genshin Impact Data Gathering team.[1]
However, the reward category is not guaranteed by using only one type of material. It is also unclear how using two or more different materials may affect the result.
