Normal Boss challenges contain enemies much stronger than Elite Enemies, but also provide better rewards for defeating them. Some bosses may require prerequisites to access.
Unlike Elite Enemies, once they have been defeated a Trounce Blossom will spawn in the area, and players can use Original Resin ×40 to open them to claim their rewards. Most Normal Bosses respawn in 10 seconds after they were first loaded, but all players must reload the surrounding area by teleporting to the nearest Teleport Waypoint or logging out of the game before challenging them again. The exact time remaining until the boss respawns can be seen in the Enemies tab of the Adventurer Handbook.
Normal Boss enemies reward Adventure EXP ×200 along with a certain amount of Mora and Companionship EXP. They may also drop some Character Level-Up Materials and Artifacts which scale on the player's World Level.
In some rare cases, a Normal Boss may consist of multiple Elite Enemies. This has only happened with the Coral Defenders challenge, where the boss actually consists of a Rimebiter Bathysmal Vishap and a Bolteater Bathysmal Vishap.
