Monetoo is an exploration mechanic in Natlan.
They are functionally very similar to Seelies, in that they need to be found and sometimes freed from various hazards, then accompanied back to their resting place, which if seen through Elemental Sight points in the direction of the creature.
Asha, found exclusively in the Easybreeze Holiday Resort, are very different from other types of Monetoo, in that many of them can be indwelled like Saurians.
Hued Monetoo[]
- Colors can be extracted from Hued Monetoo while indwelling a Saurian, but can only be thrown when not indwelling.
- It is not possible to mix 3 Hued Monetoo.

- Hued Monetoo
- Monetoo with extremely unusual shapes and colors. They come in red, yellow, and blue hues. Throw them onto Painted Stones or special graffiti to change the color of the latter.If you pick up two Hued Monetoo with different colors at the same time, it seems they will mix and produce new colors...
- Naughty Monetoo
- This one appears to be the most mischievous among the many forms of Monetoo. Lifting it with a Wind Current created through Nightspirit Graffiti and gently touching it should calm it right down...
- Matador Monetoo
- A mischievous Monetoo seen near the "Collective of Plenty." It seems to enjoy playing pranks, constantly waving a flag to attack the Tatankasaurus's charges. However, it also seems to be capable of stopping regular charges. Perhaps performing a second sprint is the key to knocking it down?If you happen to see a Monetoo standing atop rocks and taunting you, don't hesitate to charge straight at it! Something good might happen...
