Liquid Phlogiston is an exploration mechanic in Natlan. While in contact, it applies Pyro to characters and enemies, and causes them to lose 5% of their Max HP every 0.25 seconds. Koholasauri, including ones indwelled by the player, and Mualani during her Nightsoul's Blessing do not take damage from Liquid Phlogiston.
Gameplay Notes[]
- Abilities that allow characters to walk on water do not grant immunity to Liquid Phlogiston's HP loss effect. However, some abilities can raise the character over the phlogiston, preventing them from taking damage. Such examples include:
- Neuvillette's Charged Attack
- Sigewinne's Elemental Burst
- Dying to Liquid Phlogiston will reward the Wonders of the World achievement "Hot! HOT!".
