Lantern Rite is an annual Flagship Event in Version 1.3. This event celebrates Liyue's Lantern Rite Festival. It is a Chinese New Year event involving Xiao that honors the deceased adeptus Skybracer. A similar version of the event was previously ran during the 2nd Closed Beta.
Event Details[]
The Lantern Rite event is divided into 5 sections: All That Glitters, Lantern Rite Tales, Theater Mechanicus, the Xiao Market, and Stand by Me.
During the event period, Travelers can claim a 4-star Liyue character of their choice in Stand by Me. Complete challenges in Theater Mechanicus to obtain Peace Talismans, which can be spent in the Xiao Market on rewards including Crown of Insight and a new namecard style Celebration: Lantern-Light.

Festive Fever[]
Festive Fever is used as a pre-requisite for unlocking content for the Lantern Rite Tales, Theater Mechanicus, and Stand By Me events.
Festive Fever is split into 3 stages and in order to progress to the next stage, players must complete quests from the All that Glitters part of the Lantern Rite event and complete requests in the Lantern Rite Tales event.

- ↑ During the Closed Beta Test (CBT) version of Lantern Rite, Huixin was one of the event organizers. However, in the live game, her role was transferred over to Wang'ya. It is highly likely that the tutorial from CBT was reused without being updated, which is why the image and text display Huixin instead of Wang'ya.
