Hills of Barsom is a subarea located in Realm of Farakhkert, Girdle of the Sands, Sumeru.
The Hills of Barsom are located just north of Asipattravana Swamp. They are home to the Barsom, a huge pine tree with pink foliage,[1] and its familiar, the Pari Rashnu.
According to their records, the Order of Skeptics historically held a musical ritual involving Korybantes around the Barsom, which they believed was a crucial component of forming a bond ("Laupa") with the Pari.[2] In reality, Rashnu apparently found this ritual too noisy.[3]
