Gameplay Notes[]
- The Melee Stance version of this Elemental Burst drains energy later than most others.[1]
- For more information on Riptide, see Cutting Torrent.
- If an enemy would die in one hit from the Range Stance version, Riptide Burst will still trigger, even if the enemy did not have Riptide applied to them before using the Elemental Burst.
- If an enemy with Riptide dies from the first hit of the Melee Stance version, both Riptide Blast and Riptide Burst will trigger.
- If an enemy dies to the Riptide Blast effect of this Elemental Burst, it will not trigger Riptide Burst from Cutting Torrent, as the Riptide status is consumed first to apply the damage of Riptide Blast.
- After the Melee Stance Elemental Burst hits an enemy with Riptide, there is a 0.8s delay before Riptide Blast occurs and the removal of Riptide. If Riptide naturally expires during this delay, Riptide Blast will still trigger.
