You and Paimon studied the flapping of a butterfly's wings.

Gust Surge is Traveler (Anemo)'s Elemental Burst.

Gameplay Notes[]

  • Tornado DMG and Additional Elemental DMG can strike up to 9 times: once every 0.5 seconds from 2 to 6 seconds after activating Gust Surge.
  • Unlike other Talents with Elemental Absorption, Anemo Traveler's absorption priority is Cryo > Pyro > Hydro > Electro.
  • The tornado will continuously apply a Struggle state to enemies near it whose weight is less than or equal to 100, preventing them from performing any actions and allowing them to be lifted into the air by the Vacuum Field.
    • However, the Struggle state will not be applied to enemies more than 20 levels higher than Traveler.
Constellation Effects
  • Constellation Level 3, Sweeping Gust Sweeping Gust: Increases this talent's level by 3, up to a maximum of 15.
  • Constellation Level 6, Intertwined Winds Intertwined Winds: "Targets who take DMG from Gust Surge have their Anemo RES decreased by 20%. If an Elemental Absorption occurred, then their RES towards the corresponding Element is also decreased by 20%."

Trivia[]

  • While wearing their default outfit, Rising Star, when the Traveler's Elemental Burst is ready, various parts of their outfit will glow the way other characters' non-Vision gems glow along with their Visions. On Aether, these parts are his chest plate, the wrist joints of his gauntlets, arrow shaped areas on his kneecap guards, two diamonds attached one to each half of his cape, two accents in his shoulder guard and two orbs, one hanging off the end of his scarf, the other in his earring. On Lumine, the glowing parts are her chest plate, the wrist joints of her gauntlets, the diamond at the top of each of her boots, an oval on her waist at the back of her dress, the diamond at the end of each tail on her scarf, and the stem in each Inteyvat flower in her hair. These parts change color based on the element (or lack thereof) with which the player's Traveler is currently resonating.
  • The Traveler has no object that appears to be a Vision while wearing their default outfit, Rising Star, but when switching to the Traveler when their Elemental Burst is ready, the projected elemental symbol that is typically seen over other characters' Visions is seen over their chest plate.
