Abilities[]

Electro Aura
While not in the Gloomveiled state, the Frostnight Scion has an immutable Electro aura.
Tail Swipe
Swings its tail at the player, dealing 80% ATK as Electro DMG. If in a Gloomveiled state, may perform another swipe, dealing 80% ATK as Electro DMG, and/or combo into Tail Slam.
Tail Slam
Slams its tail at the player, dealing 80% ATK as Electro DMG. If in a Gloomveiled state, summons a trail of 3 lightning strikes after the slam, dealing 90% ATK as Electro DMG with each strike.
Stomp
Stomps the ground in front of it, dealing 70% ATK as Electro DMG.
Gloomveil
Periodically enters a Gloomveiled state, increasing its RES to all DMG except Electro by 50%, enhancing its attacks, and gaining the ability to relocate by disappearing and reappearing, but also losing its immunity to Electro (Electro RES in this state is 100%). A progress bar will appear with a maximum of 100 (150 in the Spiral Abyss). When the progress bar is fully filled, the Gloomveiled state will end. The progress bar gains charge via the following means:
  • + (20 × GU) when hit by a Electro attack that applies the element.
  • + 3 when hit by a Electro attack that does not apply the element (0U).
  • + 3 when hit by a Lunar Reaction.
Back Kick
Performs a kick with its hind legs, dealing 70% ATK as Electro DMG. This attack is only used while in the Gloomveiled state.
Tri-Shot
Relocates away from the player and summons three orbs above it that fire beams outward in a spread pattern, each dealing 100% ATK as Electro DMG. The center orb always aims at the player. This attack is only used while in the Gloomveiled state.

Descriptions[]

An elegant elemental life form that possesses immense elemental affinity. The long years have exposed it to high concentrations of Electro, resulting in its present form.
One of the manifestations with the most violent temperament, it commands steel-shattering bolts of lightning like mere servants, such that any land it passes through shall be marked as if by a marauding, thunderous calamity.
In still-extant prayers of the far north, it was born from the Frost Moon's blessings, symbolizing the pure source and the first radiance. Perhaps this is why it finds the tainting of its pale purity with the seven colors of heavenly light unbearable, thus rejecting all life that draws too close.
