Flamegranates are an Exploration mechanic in Natlan. They will explode a brief moment after being hit by Pyro attacks, dealing True Pyro DMG within a small AoE. They can also be grabbed by an indwelled Yumkasaurus or by Kinich, who can then shoot it in a certain direction, dealing more True Pyro DMG within a bigger AoE on hit.

Flamegranates generate 2 Phlogiston Particles upon exploding, partially refilling the player's Phlogiston meter (as long as they are within range).

Flamegranates also generate 1 Phlogistion Particle without exploding every time when Iansan in her Rushing Thunderbolt mode, Varesa in her Sudden Onrush mode, or an indwelled Tatankasaurus using Quick Charge (whether in the Spirited state or not) passes by one. Iansan, Varesa, and the indwelled Tatankasaurus can also use their Nightsoul-aligned attacks to gain the particle.

Tutorial Flamegranates
A wondrous fruit native to Natlan that is unstable while in its semi-ripe state due to being filled with Phlogiston. As such, it will explode when hit by Pyro attacks.
The Scions of the Canopy can use grappling hooks to grab them, while Yumkasaurs can use their tongues to do the same, hurling them out afterward like bombs.
