Fish is a Cooking Ingredient item used in recipes to create Food items.
How to Obtain[]
Wild Fish are found in various bodies of water around Teyvat. Basses are found in small groups in shallow waters. They can either be caught directly and transferred to the player's inventory immediately as a Fish item, or hit by attacks to drop a Fish item in their place which can be picked up by the player. In both cases, the product obtained is always one unit of the generic Fish ingredient, regardless of the subtype caught.
See the Video Guides section or the Teyvat Interactive Map for specific locations.
Other species of Fish are exclusively found in Fishing Points, and need to be fished up properly to be caught. They do not directly award the Fish ingredient, but the fresh fish obtained can be processed to produce it, in different quantities depending on their size.
Additionally, the following NPCs give Fish after following a certain dialogue branch for the first time:
- Jiangxue at Wangshu Inn, Liyue (5 Fish)
- Obata in Ritou, Inazuma (10 Fish)
- Uncle Tian in Liyue Harbor, Liyue (5 Fish)
