Ultimately, production was forcibly ended due to mass protests. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one.
Item Effect
Debate Club grants its wielder a 15s buff after using an Elemental Skill. While this buff is active, normal or charged attack will cause an extra 60%-120% DMG AOE circle to activate around the struck enemy (up to once every 3 seconds). The AOE is roughly the size of Amber's Elemental Burst.
Theoretically, this effect can outshine Prototype Aminus (480% DMG every 15 seconds) if you activate and time it perfectly (5 x 120 = 600% DMG over 15 seconds). However, Debate Club has lower maximum damage due to it being a 3 Star weapon, and the instantaneous damage on Prototype Aminus can be more valuable against bosses with short windows of vulnerability such as Elemental Hypostases.
- Note Debate Club is currently bugged on Chongyun; it will only activate on the first hit after he uses his Elemental Skill, and not activate for the remaining 15 seconds.
- While the AOE has a 3 second cooldown, the 15 second buff does not. Using an elemental skill with a cooldown shorter than 3 seconds (such as Diluc's) will continuously reset the buff and the AOE cooldown, allowing you to activate the AOE faster than once every 3 seconds.
