Overview

Charged Attacks are performed by holding the Normal Attack button. These attacks are usually stronger, but take slightly longer to perform and typically consume Stamina. Bow characters are an exception; Stamina is not consumed in Aimed Shot mode and charging up an attack is only needed to make it deal Elemental Damage.

A single Charged Attack typically consumes 20 Stamina for Sword users, 25 Stamina for Polearm users, 50 Stamina for Catalyst users, and 40 Stamina per second for Claymore users, with exceptions.

Sword users and Polearm users must always perform at least one Normal Attack before performing their Charged Attack.

Aimed Shots

Aimed Shots are Charged Attacks for Bow characters. They can be aimed with precision and do not consume Stamina. A fully-charged attack in Aimed Shot mode will deal Elemental DMG of the character's Element; releasing the arrow before it is fully charged will deal Physical DMG to the target. A non-charged Aimed Shot also counts as a Charged Attack.

There are two ways to enter Aimed Shot mode. Holding the Normal Attack button temporarily enters Aimed Shot mode and ends upon releasing the Normal Attack button. Players can also press the appropriate keybind or button to enter a persistent Aimed Shot Mode, which remains until the keybind or button is pressed again, the active character takes damage, or the active character performs any action aside from walking or shooting.

Aimed Shots can travel very far, especially when aimed high into the air. However, the farther they travel, the less damage they deal.

Fully-charged Aimed Shots that are fired behave as objects affected by their element. Therefore, they may interact with other element applications. For example, in rainy weather, fully-charged Anemo Aimed Shots periodically produce Hydro Swirl reactions — fully-charged Pyro Aimed Shots are Vaporized and extinguished after a period of time in flight, dealing Physical DMG if they hit a target after being extinguished. Fully-charged Hydro Aimed Shots may be Frozen in the air by a Cryo attack.

Riptide
Opponents affected by Riptide will suffer from AoE Hydro DMG effects when attacked by Tartaglia in various ways. DMG dealt in this way is considered Normal Attack DMG.
  • Riptide Flash: A fully-charged Aimed Shot that hits an opponent affected by Riptide deals consecutive bouts of AoE DMG. Can occur once every 0.7s.
  • Riptide Burst: Defeating an opponent affected by Riptide creates a Hydro burst that inflicts the Riptide status on nearby opponents hit.

Plunging Attack
Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
When Tartaglia is in Foul Legacy: Raging Tide's Melee Stance, he cannot perform a plunging attack.

Talents

These Talents grant modifications or additional effects to Charged Attacks (besides Elemental Infusions, which also infuse Charged Attacks). For example, Ganyu has a second charged level for her Liutian Archery, and Hu Tao applies the special Blood Blossom status with her Charged Attacks when in her Paramita Papilio state (and this is an additional effect besides her infusion). Other abilities can heal (Barbara), do additional damage (Yanfei), or have reduced stamina cost (Diluc).

Elemental Burst

Paramita Papilio
  • Increases Hu Tao's ATK based on her Max HP at the time of entering this state. ATK Bonus gained this way cannot exceed 400% of Hu Tao's Base ATK.
  • Converts attack DMG to Pyro DMG, which cannot be overridden by any other elemental infusion.
  • Charged Attacks apply the Blood Blossom effect to the enemies hit.
  • Increases Hu Tao's resistance to interruption.

Blood Blossom
Enemies affected by Blood Blossom will take Pyro DMG every 4s. This DMG is considered Elemental Skill DMG.
Each enemy can be affected by only one Blood Blossom effect at a time, and its duration may only be refreshed by Hu Tao herself.

Paramita Papilio ends when its duration is over, or Hu Tao has left the battlefield or fallen.

Melody Loop
  • On hit, Barbara's Normal Attacks heal your own party members and nearby teammates for a certain amount of HP, which scales with Barbara's Max HP.
  • On hit, Barbara's Charged Attack generates 4 times the amount of healing.
  • Periodically regenerates your own active character's HP.
  • Applies the Wet status to the character and to opponents who come in contact with them.
Elemental Skill
Razor Razor Lightning Fang Lightning Fang Summons the Wolf Within, which deals Electro DMG to all nearby opponents. This clears all of Razor's Electro Sigils, which will be converted into Elemental Energy for him.
The Wolf Within will fight alongside Razor for the skill's duration.

Shoots fireballs that deal up to three counts of Pyro DMG.
When Yanfei's Normal Attacks hit enemies, they will grant her a single Scarlet Seal. Yanfei may possess a maximum of 3 Scarlet Seals, and each time this effect is triggered, the duration of currently possessed Scarlet Seals will refresh.
Each Scarlet Seal will decrease Yanfei's Stamina consumption and will disappear when she leaves the field.

Charged Attack
Consumes Stamina and all Scarlet Seals before dealing AoE Pyro DMG to the opponents after a short casting time.
This Charged Attack's AoE and DMG will increase according to the amount of Scarlet Seals consumed.

Plunging Attack
Gathering the power of Pyro, Yanfei plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Pyro DMG upon impact with the ground.
Normal Attack
Klee Klee Sparkling Burst Sparkling Burst When Klee's Charged Attack results in a CRIT, all party members gain 2 Elemental Energy. 4th Ascension Passive
Ningguang Ningguang Sparkling Scatter Sparkling Scatter Normal Attack
Shoots gems that deal Geo DMG.
Upon hit, this grants Ningguang 1 Star Jade.

Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of stamina to fire off a giant gem that deals Geo DMG.
If Ningguang has any Star Jades, unleashing a Charged Attack will cause the Star Jades to be fired at the enemy as well, dealing additional DMG.
