Abilities and Attacks
- Blink: If the Black Serpent Knight: Windcutter hits a player protected by a Shield (not including those created through Crystallize), it will gain a temporary buff at the cost of 15% of its Current HP, which increases its ATK by 30% and allows it to blink away from the next attack and take no DMG no matter the scale.
- Stormslash Sweeping: Performs 2 consecutive slashes, dealing 80% ATK with each slash as AoE Anemo DMG. The combo may end early if the player leaves its range.
- Galeblade Greatsword: Performs 3 consecutive slashes, dealing 60% ATK, 80% ATK, 80% ATK with each slash respectively as AoE Anemo DMG. The combo may end early if the player leaves its range.
- Whirling Windblades: Loosens their sword and launches several spinning blades forward before retracting them, dealing 60% ATK when launching and retracting as AoE Anemo DMG.
- Windspike Whipsmash: Transforms their sword into a whip and performs a downward swing, dealing 100% ATK as Anemo DMG.
- Swiftwind Seekers: Forms 6 projectiles before launching them at the player consecutively, each dealing 30% ATK as Anemo DMG on hit.

Trivia
- Some Black Serpent Knight: Windcutters can be found with special titles:
- Edgetho: a Windcutter found in the underground mines of the Chasm with the title "Breaker of the Oath of Silence".
- Buliwyf: a Windcutter found in the underground mines of the Chasm with the title "Guardian of the Desolation".
- Rethel: a Windcutter found in the underground mines of the Chasm with the title "Slain of the Split Bow".
- Similarly to Frostarm Lawachurls, all of the overworld Windcutter knights have titles when fought in addition to being named.
- Rethel is fought alone; both Edgetho and Buliwyf are reinforced by a Standard Bearer, with Buliwyf being assisted by an additional Defender.
