Media:Black Serpent Knight Windcutter Blink.mp4	If one of the Black Serpent Knight: Windcutter's attacks is fully absorbed by a player's Shield (does not count if the shield breaks as a result of the attack), it will gain a temporary buff at the cost of 15% of its Current HP, which increases its ATK by 30% and allows it to blink away from the next attack and take no DMG no matter the scale.

Black Serpent Knight: Windcutter

This seems to have once been a trusted guard of high standing in some land who wielded the power of the winds. Its attacks become faster and stronger when they hit shielded characters, at the cost of its own health.

Descriptions[]

A guard of some standing in the court, sundering the foes of the nation's rulers using a sword art known as "Truthseeker."
The Twilight Sword was once one of their number. That realm's glory has been extinguished, never again to be reclaimed.

Some Black Serpent Knight: Windcutters can be found with special titles:
- Edgetho: a Windcutter found in the underground mines of the Chasm with the title "Breaker of the Oath of Silence."
- Buliwyf: a Windcutter found in the underground mines of the Chasm with the title "Guardian of the Desolation."
- Rethel: a Windcutter found in the underground mines of the Chasm with the title "Slain of the Split Bow."
- Ynghildr: a Windcutter found on the middle level of a Ruin Golem during the quest Vimana Agama: Jazari's Chapter with the title "Sword of a Lost Homeland."
Similarly to Frostarm Lawachurls, all of the overworld Windcutter knights have titles when fought in addition to being named.
Rethel and Ynghildr are fought alone; both Edgetho and Buliwyf are reinforced by a Standard Bearer, with Buliwyf being assisted by an additional Defender.
