The children told me that a huge youkai has appeared in the mountains! Its body is gigantic, its laughter terrible, and it loves eating desserts! Any dango left around in a basket disappears in a flash! It even delights in stealing candy right out from your hands, and even takes the wrapper! Truly, evil beyond description! But after it eats too many sweet and sticky desserts, the great youkai becomes sluggish. The kids say that if the invincible and great hero Yoimiya chooses that moment to strike, she'll definitely be able to take it down without breaking a sweat! And if we defeat it, a giant cake will appear in its stomach, and it'll even have candles on it! I bet you've never seen a youkai like that before, right? Want to go defeat it with me? Recently, the kids wanted to have a go at the Test of Courage but were too afraid of the dark. So I went into the woods and caught some fireflies to make small night lamps for them. As I watched the fireflies twinkle and shine, it felt like I was holding stars in the palm of my hand. And that gave me a most brilliant idea! I wanted to create star-shaped fireworks that could be held! Hehe, and after days of trying, I finally succeeded! From now on, whenever you find yourself walking in the dark, just light up this "Star Firework." That's how I'll give you strength! Never fear, Yoimiya is here— Heh, I know you're not a child anymore, but I still hope this tittle invention can bring some sparkles to your journey. C'mon, let's hold some stars together! | |

I've been running around preparing for the Naganohara Fireworks Show all day, every day, for the past few days — I didn't even realize my father had already prepared my birthday present! And what do you know, it's a Kamera! I looked through the viewfinder when I was testing my fireworks... I could see the sparks in the night sky lighting up the tears in lovers' eyes, the gentle caress of an old lady's fingers as she covered her kitten's ears, and even kids holding up their Tricolor Dango to the fireworks' pattern and comparing which was rounder... Whew! In the end, they got their dango stuck on the tips of their noses. My fireworks were the backdrop to these happy moments, and taking a photo captured them all together... When I was flipping through the pictures I took, something in my heart lit up along with the fireworks. I figured that moments like these are why I have never given up on creating fireworks!
