Time passes real quick, huh? Sometimes, when you sail out to sea, you can't ever say when your feet will next touch dry land. By coincidence, our voyage this time was plagued with storm and rain, to the point where two of the lads thought that we might not return. Hah! Recently, I happened upon some Noctilucous Jade of decent quality, I'll bring them over to you. I am not big on ore research, but they sure are beauties. In my hands, they are nothing more than just rocks, but you can probably find some use for them. Perhaps you can collect them, or make jewelry or weapons? Hey, you wanna hear something cool? I caught a fish this morning almost the size of a small boat! Plus, it happened to be my birthday, so I asked Wanmin Restaurant to help me prepare a feast using it. Speaking of said fish, we managed to hook it by the mouth at first, but who'd thought its tail could be so strong that its slaps left several of my sailors red and wrecked? And even after all that, it managed to break free and get away, swimming back to the sea. Of course, if that's how the story ended, then my fleet wouldn't be worthy of being called The Crux. To make a long struggle short, we got it! It's just boiled fish now, haha. Unlike some other fish out in the sea, the meat of this one is much firmer, and the taste is just splendid. I'm not lying. You gotta try it! | |

Not long ago, I led the fleet west across the sea by way of Yilong Wharf to Fontaine's Lumidouce Harbor to open up some new shipping routes. After so many years at sea, we thought we'd seen it all. But this time, the locals convinced me to give diving a try, and I never imagined I'd see an entirely new world. While I was picking Romaritime Flowers, a bunch of Armored Crabs surrounded me and started brandishing their pincers! So I just laid 'em all out flat, one crab one punch. I've gotta say, it'd been a long time since I've fought with my bare hands, and it felt great. Oh, and I gotta tell you about these Lumitoile! They're actually kinda pretty, so I'm sending some along with this letter as a memento. If you have time, we should meet soon. I'll make some chow, and we can talk about our recent adventures together! | |

The fleet is taking a break at Port Ormos now. I walked into a tavern earlier and found out the owner is a real sailing enthusiast — he even treated us to some of his specialty dishes! Haha, in Liyue, we believe in reciprocity, so how could I accept his kindness without giving something in return? The Chief Mate has already invited him for a tour of the deck. Hope he enjoys himself! Whenever I meet new friends who click with me, I can't help but think of you! How have you been lately? Now that we've got good food and wine, care to meet up? The clock is ticking though. We'll set sail again right after we're done eating and drinking here. Can't deny the port is peaceful and comfortable, but The Alcor was born for the waves. You can't argue with that, can you? Haha! | |
