Beidou (Chinese: 北斗 Běidǒu) is a playable Electro character in Genshin Impact.

She is the captain of The Crux, a renowned crew in Liyue. Besides her capabilities as a fleet captain and her immense strength, many in Liyue know her for her lack of fear towards the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing, Ningguang — a trait that the other appreciates, yet grows irritated by.

Description Gameplay Notes Advanced Properties Attribute Scaling Preview Nothing to worry about. Should anyone raise a hand against her or her men, she will avenge it ten-fold with sword and thunder. (PressPressText for mouse and keyboard and controller/TapTapText for touch screen) Accumulating the power of lightning, Beidou swings her blade forward fiercely, dealing Electro DMG. Hold Lifts her weapon up as a shield. Max DMG absorbed scales off Beidou's Max HP. Attacks using the energy stored within the greatsword upon release or once this ability's duration expires, dealing Electro DMG. DMG dealt scales with the number of times Beidou is attacked in the skill's duration. The greatest DMG Bonus will be attained once this effect is triggered twice. The shield possesses the following properties: Has 250% Electro DMG Absorption Efficiency. Applies the Electro element to Beidou upon activation. This skill generates 2 Elemental Particles when it hits at least 1 target, or up to 4 when it hits with energy stored. The skill description is somewhat misleading. The Press skill has the same functionality as the Hold skill (including the shield and energy storing), but only during a very brief window. This skill can be held for up to 3s ‍[ver­i­fi­ca­tion need­ed] The shield created by this skill lasts for a short duration even after the skill button is released, allowing the skill's DMG to trigger the effects of Geo Resonance. The "DMG Bonus on Hit Taken" Talent multiplier listed in the Skill Attributes is additive to the "Base DMG" Talent multiplier. For example, taking 2 hits while holding this skill will cause it to deal (122% + 160% × 2) = 442% ATK as DMG at Talent Level 1. Description Gameplay Notes Advanced Properties Attribute Scaling Preview Recalling her slaying of the great beast Haishan, Beidou calls upon that monstrous strength and the lightning to create a Thunderbeast's Targe around herself, dealing Electro DMG to nearby opponents. Thunderbeast's Targe When Normal and Charged Attacks hit, they create a lightning discharge that can jump between opponents, dealing Electro DMG. Increases the character's resistance to interruption, and decreases DMG taken. A maximum of 1 lightning discharge can be triggered per second. Although not explicitly stated, Thunderbeast's Targe persists when changing to another character in the team and continue to affect the active character. The discharges jump between enemies: At C0: 2 jumps, 3 hits including the first target (for example, with 2 enemies A and B, it will jump A ➔ B ➔ A, dealing damage for a total of 3 times) At C2: 4 jumps, 5 hits including the first target (for example, with 2 enemies A and B, it will jump A ➔ B ➔ A ➔ B ➔ A, dealing damage for a total of 5 times) In order for the jumps to occur, there needs to be at least 2 enemies. If there is only one enemy, there will be no jump and the discharge will only do damage once. Stormbreaker's Lightning DMG will snapshot Beidou's stats on cast and will not be affected by changes in her stats that occur afterwards. The effect may be discharged by ranged weapons up to a certain distance if it hits a valid target. If the attack hits the target from too far away, the effect may not be discharged. Constellation Effects Constellation Level 1, Sea Beast's Scourge: Upon using Stormbreaker, a shield is created that absorbs up to 16% of Beidou's Max HP for 15 seconds. This shield is 250% more effective against Electro DMG. Constellation Level 2, Upon the Turbulent Sea, the Thunder Arises: "Stormbreaker's arc lightning can jump to 2 additional targets."
