She is the captain of The Crux, a renowned crew in Liyue. Besides her capabilities as a fleet captain and her immense strength, many in Liyue know her for her lack of fear towards the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing, Ningguang — a trait that the other woman appreciates, yet grows irritated by.
Normal Attack: Perform up to 5 successive strikes.
Charged Attack: Drains Stamina over time to perform continuous slashes. At end of the sequence, perform a more powerful slash. Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Press: Accumulating the power of lightning, Beidou swings her blade forward fiercely, dealing Electro DMG. Hold: Lifts her weapon up as a shield. Max DMG absorbed scales off Beidou's Max HP. Attacks using the energy stored within the greatsword upon release or once this ability's duration expires, dealing Electro DMG. DMG dealt scales with the number of times Beidou is attacked in the skill's duration. The greatest DMG Bonus will be attained once this effect is triggered twice. The shield possesses the following properties:
Has 250% Electro DMG Absorption Efficiency.
Applies the Electro Element to Beidou upon activation.
This skill generates 2Elemental Particles when it hits at least 1 target, or 4 when it hits with energy stored.
When holding the skill, it gains DMG bonus for each hit Beidou is taken during the hold duration, up to 2 hits.
The hit can be from any damage instance, including fire damage from burning grass.
After holding the skill for about 3 seconds, the attack will be released automatically.
If the shield breaks, the player will take the rest of the remaining damage used to break the shield.
With Beidou's Passive Talent 1, counterattacking with Tidecaller at the precise moment when the character is hit grants the maximum DMG Bonus. This is known as a "perfect counter" or a "parry".
When you hold the skill, there will be a bubble around you that lasts for a fraction of a second. If you get hit in the time frame the bubble is still up, it gives you the maximum damage for the skill (same as if Beidou was hit twice).
You can instantly activate perfect counter by using this skill while standing in damage over time environments like burning grasses, burning torches or burning camp sites.
After you trigger perfect counter you can continue to hold it, but it will not increase the damage further when hit.
A perfect counter will not negate all damage if the damage taken breaks the shield.
