Genshin Impact Wiki

Attack, abbreviated in-game as ATK, is an attribute used to calculate how much damage a character (or enemy) does. All forms of damage calculation except specific Elemental Reactions scale linearly with ATK.

The total ATK formula is:[1]

Where:

  • is the character's final attack value, which can be viewed from the character's attributes screen.
  • is the flat attack value the character receives from leveling up and ascensions.
  • is the weapon's flat attack value.
  • is the sum of ATK% bonuses obtained from all sources, including buffs from artifacts, weapon passives, skills, character ascensions, etc. Note ATK % is different from Damage Bonus (DMG %).
  • is the flat attack value obtained from artifacts, skills, food, etc.

In the Attribute menu screen, the base ATK (Character + Weapon ATK) of a character appears in white whereas all other ATK bonuses appear in green.

Inspiration Field
  • If the health of a character within the AoE is equal to or falls below 70%, their health will continuously regenerate. The amount of HP restored scales off Bennett's Max HP.
  • If the health of a character within the AoE is higher than 70%, they gain an ATK Bonus that is based on Bennett's Base ATK.
  • Imbues characters within the AoE with Pyro.
Elemental Burst

Hu Tao consumes a set portion of her HP to knock the surrounding enemies back and enter the Paramita Papilio state.

Paramita Papilio
  • Increases Hu Tao's ATK based on her Max HP at the time of entering this state. ATK Bonus gained this way cannot exceed 400% of Hu Tao's Base ATK.
  • Converts attack DMG to Pyro DMG, which cannot be overridden by any other elemental infusion.
  • Charged Attacks apply the Blood Blossom effect to the enemies hit.
  • Increases Hu Tao's resistance to interruption.

Blood Blossom
Enemies affected by Blood Blossom will take Pyro DMG every 4s. This DMG is considered Elemental Skill DMG.
Each enemy can be affected by only one Blood Blossom effect at a time, and its duration may only be refreshed by Hu Tao herself.

Paramita Papilio ends when its duration is over, or Hu Tao has left the battlefield or fallen.

Arataki Itto Arataki Itto Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil! Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil! Time to show 'em the might of the Arataki Gang! For a time, Itto lets out his inner Raging Oni King, wielding his Oni King's Kanabou in battle.
This state has the following special properties:
  • Converts Itto's Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks to Geo DMG. This cannot be overridden.
  • Increases Itto's Normal Attack SPD. Also increases his ATK based on his DEF.
  • On hit, the 1st and 3rd strikes of his attack combo will each grant Arataki Itto 1 stack of Superlative Superstrength.
  • Decreases Itto's Elemental and Physical RES by 20%.

The Raging Oni King state will be cleared when Itto leaves the field.

Elemental Burst
Kujou Sara Kujou Sara Subjugation: Koukou Sendou Subjugation: Koukou Sendou Casts down Tengu Juurai: Titanbreaker, dealing AoE Electro DMG. Afterwards, Tengu Juurai: Titanbreaker spreads out into 4 consecutive bouts of Tengu Juurai: Stormcluster, dealing AoE Electro DMG.
Tengu Juurai: Titanbreaker and Tengu Juurai: Stormcluster can provide the active character within their AoE with the same ATK Bonus as given by the Elemental Skill, Tengu Stormcall.

The ATK Bonus provided by various kinds of Tengu Juurai will not stack, and their effects and duration will be determined by the last Tengu Juurai to take effect.
Elemental Burst
Noelle Noelle Sweeping Time Sweeping Time Gathering the strength of stone around her weapon, Noelle strikes the opponents surrounding her within a large AoE, dealing Geo DMG.
Afterwards, Noelle gains the following effects:
  • Larger attack AoE.
  • Converts attack DMG to Geo DMG that cannot be overridden by any other elemental infusion.
  • Increased ATK that scales based on her DEF.
Elemental Burst
Kujou Sara Kujou Sara Tengu Stormcall Tengu Stormcall Retreats rapidly with the speed of a tengu, summoning the protection of the Crowfeather.
Gains Crowfeather Cover for 18s, and when Kujou Sara fires a fully-charged Aimed Shot, Crowfeather Cover will be consumed, and will leave a Crowfeather at the target location.
Crowfeathers will trigger Tengu Juurai: Ambush after a short time, dealing Electro DMG and granting the active character within its AoE an ATK Bonus based on Kujou Sara's Base ATK.

The ATK Bonuses from different Tengu Juurai will not stack, and their effects and duration will be determined by the last Tengu Juurai to take effect.

Aloy Aloy Frozen Wilds Frozen Wilds Aloy throws a Freeze Bomb in the targeted direction that explodes on impact, dealing Cryo DMG. After it explodes, the Freeze Bomb will split up into many Chillwater Bomblets that explode on contact with opponents or after a short delay, dealing Cryo DMG.
When a Freeze Bomb or Chillwater Bomblet hits an opponent, the opponent's ATK is decreased and Aloy receives 1 Coil stack.
Aloy can gain up to 1 Coil stack every 0.1s.

Coil
  • Each stack increases Aloy's Normal Attack DMG.
  • When Aloy has 4 Coil stacks, all stacks of Coil are cleared. She then enters the Rushing Ice state, which further increases the DMG dealt by her Normal Attacks and converts her Normal Attack DMG to Cryo DMG.

While in the Rushing Ice state, Aloy cannot obtain new Coil stacks.
Coil effects will be cleared 30s after Aloy leaves the field.
