Asipattravana Swamp is a subarea located in Realm of Farakhkert, Girdle of the Sands, Sumeru.
Asipattravana Swamp is located in a thorn-filled canyon just north of Vourukasha Oasis. It is guarded by the Pari Mihir, a "familiar of thorns."
When the Traveler and Paimon accompanied Sorush there in Asipattravana Itihasa, it had been blanketed in a purple mist of Abyssal origin. In an attempt to defend the swamp, Mihir had sealed herself and the source of the Abyssal energy behind a Gray Gate. The Traveler and Sorush helped to cleanse the defilement and free Mihir.

Etymology[]
- Asipatravana (Sanskrit: असिपत्रवन), meaning "forest where leaves are swords," refers to one of the eight "hot" hells of Naraka,[1] the equivalent of Hell in Dharmic religions. It condemns those that cut down trees to kill those they had unresolved grudges against, punishing them with sword-shaped leaves cutting off their limbs and nose in its fierce winds.[2]
