- 空劫 Kōngjié/空劫 Kuukou refers to the kalpa of nothingness, and the fourth and final aeon of the universe.
- A kalpa refers to immense period of time in Hindu and Buddhist cosmology, generally between the creation and recreation of a world or universe.
- 開敷 Kaifu refers to blooming flowers, but can also refer to spreading teachings.
- 变/變
Biàn is short for 变相/變相 Biànxiàng. 变相/變相 refers to paintings or sculptures about Buddhist stories, especially about the changes of the superpower of Buddhist deities.
