Anecdotes are short, unmarked dialogue quests related to:
- The Travelers' Tales permanent game system.
- Past Travelers' Tales events.
Anecdotes could also refer to:
- Anecdote Stamps, the rewards in Travelers' Tales for completing a number of anecdotes.

Gameplay Notes[]
- Some anecdotes are visible on the map interface, while others are triggered by specific conditions (such as exiting a specific Crafting Bench after crafting an item) and are not visible on the map interface.
- After completion, the characters in some anecdotes will temporarily remain in the world and have additional optional dialogue. Such characters will despawn after the area is reloaded. This is the same behavior of in-world characters after some World Quests and Archon Quests.
- Certain anecdotes require the completion of other anecdotes before they become available. These may be anecdotes from the same character or different characters.
- A specific anecdote cannot spawn if:
- The character is occupied by another quest.
- Its prerequisites have not yet been completed.
- An anecdote for the same character is currently available on the map.
