Ajilenakh Nut is a Cooking Ingredient found in the Great Red Sand, Sumeru.

How to Obtain[]

Ajilenakh Nuts can be found growing on Athel palm trees and lying about beneath them in the desert oases of Sumeru. Shooting directly at the fruit will cause it to drop from its tree: striking the tree with a melee weapon will not shake it loose. It can occasionally be found when destroying Tumbleweeds drifting around the Great Red Sand.

For specific locations see the gallery or the Teyvat Interactive Map.

Descriptions[]

A fruit that grows on evergreen trees within desert oases. The flesh beneath the tough skin is thick, sweet, and delicious, making it an important food source amongst the desert peoples.
Their extremely high sugar content may be attributed to the special geographical conditions of the desert. They are delicious both on their own as dried fruit and as ingredients in various sweets. Ajilenakh Nuts are said to have a long history of cultivation. They are often mentioned in songs about the olden days. Legend has it that the candied Ajilenakh Nuts served as the first appetizer at the nightly banquets held by the Lord of the Blazing Sun.

Trivia[]

  • "Ajilenakh" (Persian: آجيلِ نخ) is a corruption of "ajilenakhl" (Persian: آجيلِ نخل) which means "date palm nuts" in Persian.
