Abyssal Blight is an exploration mechanic in Natlan. It is a form of Abyssal Corruption.

- Abyssal Blight
In the ruins of Ochkanatlan, the Abyssal energy that seeps out of the city accumulates into an ooze known as Abyssal Blight.
Solitary Abyssal Blights can be instantly melted away by "Cocouik"'s halos of light. When multiple Abyssal Blights are connected, you may need to quickly suppress them all within a short period to melt them away.
- Abyssal Vortices
An Abyssal vortex formed due to the influence of the Abyssal Blight growing on the ancient ruins. The nearby Abyssal Blight will melt away once it is suppressed.
- "Cocouik"'s Rings of Light
The Adventurer Bona's mysterious companion "Cocouik" seems to have a marvelous ability to suppress the corrosive power of the Abyss.
When traveling together, "Cocouik" will project a halo from its body, helping protect you from the threat of the Abyss by consuming Phlogiston. Under the influence of the halos, the corrosive Abyssal Blight will be suppressed and melted away, and monsters that possess Void Shields will be continually damaged.
- Malignant Abyssal Blight
- Compared to ordinary Abyssal Blight, the power of the Abyss within the Core of Chu'ulel is much stronger. Though rings of light can temporarily suppress their growth, they cannot be completely destroyed until the Abyssal pollution around the Chu'ulel Light Core is eliminated.
- Radiant Pillars
- Mysterious pillars scattered about the Core of Chu'ulel. They appear to be devices used to suppress the spread of Abyssal corrosion.
After radiant fragments are placed within, they will illuminate the area in a certain radius. The Abyssal Blight within the area illuminated by this circle of light will be suppressed and melted away, and monsters that possess Void Wards will be continually damaged.
- Radiant Fragments
- Fragments of power that glow with a radiant light. They seem to be from the same source as "Cocouik"'s power and can suppress the Abyss. After picking them up, place them into Radiant Pillars to form rings of light that can suppress the Abyssal corrosion in the surrounding area.
