容姿[]
ディルックの髪は高い位置でポニーテールに結ばれている。
ディルックは黒のドレスシャツ、目に赤い宝石があしらわれた銀色の不死鳥の徽章が付いたライトグレーのウエストコート、4本の燕尾が付いた銀色のアクセントのある赤い燕尾服、同じようなデザインの黒いズボン、左の太ももにストラップ、銀色のすね当てが付いた黒いニーハイブーツ、赤い徽章と指の鎖が付いたままの黒い手袋、大きな赤いリストガードを身に着けている。
元素記号の投影[]
ディルックはレッドデッド・オブ・ナイトを着ているときは神の目らしきものはないが、元素爆発の準備ができたときにディルックに切り替えると、他のキャラクターの神の目の上に通常見られる投影され元素シンボルが左胸の不死鳥徽章の目の赤い宝石の上に見える。
ストーリー[]
ラグヴィンド家の長男、騎士団史上最年少の騎兵隊隊長として、ディルックはかつて花束と拍手に囲まれ、大きな期待を寄せられていた。あの自由で気ままな北風騎士ファルカでさえ、「騎士団の誇り」と真剣な面持ちで褒めたほどである。
父であるクリプスは大いに喜び、ディルックが自分以上の成果を収めることに期待した。ラグヴィンド一族の栄光を受け継ぎ、モンドのためにアカツキを紡ぐだけでなく、群衆の頂点に佇むことで高貴な資質を導き伝え、良き西風騎士になるのだと。
その期待は普段の会話や訓練、生活の小さな瞬間にまで溶け込んでいる。それが誇らしかった父は、早くから準備を進め——ディルックのために礼服をオーダーメイドした。
しかし、あの陰鬱な雨の夜のこと。父親の賞賛は、ディルックが歩む騎士の道と共に消え去り、礼服もその意味を失ってしまった。
数年後、過去の悲劇と茶番は終わりを告げる。旅から帰ってきたディルックは、「罪悪を駆逐する」ため行動を始めた。
それは亡き父のためではない。苦慮の末に見出した信念を貫き、自分なりの方法でモンドを守るためであった。
埃まみれであった礼服は、彼の手によって新たな戦闘服に姿を変えた。この久しく懐かしい質感を持つ生地を、ディルックは心の中で大切にしている。
「さすが私の息子だ」。首にある宝石が赤い髪を映し、かつてそのような口調で話していた父の記憶が蘇る。
静寂に包まれし深き夜、眠りし刃は貴公子の名の下に鞘から抜かれ、その切っ先は脅威へと向けられる。刃は行く先々で大剣の弧光を瞬かせ、燃え盛る炎を立ち昇らせた。そして、罪悪が隠れ潜む場所を燃やし尽くしていく。
「闇夜の英雄」の名がモンドの人々の記憶に刻まれた頃、目を焼く真紅の赤は、すでに魔物や悪人たちから恐れられる色となっていた。
「真のアカツキは、まだ訪れていない。」
父の期待から外れたことを、ディルックは理解している。なぜなら、彼は「先駆者」となるからだ。
