Is Wiki policy that an in-game screenshot is better than nothing, or should it be left completely blank until someone with proper image editing ability can make one that's fully compliant with map image guidelines?

I'm not able to make map images to the standards of the guide page, but as I complete quests, I would like to help other people find these NPC/item/recipe locations. Obviously, a blank image box is not going to help anyone who comes to the Wiki looking to find something! However, I don't want to overstep by adding improper images, even if the information is accurate. Are map screenshots (with the "Update With Map Standards Needed" tag) acceptable as a sort of temporary measure, or should I refrain from uploading and leave the image spot empty? I want to make sure I'm not accidentally causing harm in attempts to help.

P.S. I have a rather old computer- should I also refrain from uploading context images if the graphics quality is set to low? (To be perfectly clear, I would only ever do this if the existing page is blank!)

Help me understand something.

I've seen that under many characters, in their template, the pronunciation of their name has been added. It's a very good addition but why is it strictly derived from the English dub of the game even when there are names which are pronounced wrongly?

Shouldn't this be a chance first and foremost to educate the users and teach them how these names should be actually pronounced, alongside how they are already said in the game's EN dub?

I haven't the faintest idea how to do it right myself but the Military section is so messed up. The first thing is that no technically Lyris(Director) isn't dead......at all. Basil (vice director) did lead the Armada and die doing so. It's just bothering me and I fear since Natlan is now ongoing it won't get fixed anytime soon.

Just updated Ronovas page to include her JP VA and noticed they used the image of the fire for her. Dunno if theyll do the same for Xbalanque (if they do a VA reveal for him) but maybe we could use the fire for her profile image in the meantime?

I have three images of Nilou, Navia and Kirara from the Summertide Scales and Tales event from the Battle Chronicles, they are 3000 x 3000 PNG files taken straight from the website and if needed i can provide the images. I don't know if any page needs or already has then, but i have them if they need to be provided!

I was thinking of making the next part of my alignment chart for Liyue characters but I found out that transparent characters are no longer there and it's the same for all character pages!! NOOOOOOOO

Why are they removed anyway? It's been there for years but suddenly it's gone? I know so many people are relying on this wiki to get transparent pictures including many fan projects and fan artists. Pretty sure there are real life merch with pictures from here!

So we've been using, for example: <ref>[[Faded Castle#Investigation of the Northern Barbarians]]</ref> to make references, but then they're not formatted correctly.

In the screenshot below, the references are formatted correctly except for the one we highlighted (which was added by us).

I know it's been said that local legends won't be getting their own pages, but when trying to find out what the 'gimmick' to defeating them is/what their moves are it can be hard to find the information. Especially as I'm not always sure what class of enemy they belong to - I knew immediately that Balachko is a pyro agent, but Tlatzacuilotl didn't look like any enemy I'd seen before and I spent quite a while trying to find the right page.

I thought about it a bit, and this is my suggestion:

Could we consider putting some page redirects on? So that (for example) if someone searches for Tlatzacuitol it redirects to the page for Tepetlisaurus Warrior: Rockbreaker Blade where the information for his stats are?

I'm not very experienced with wiki editing, so I'm not sure how easy this would be to implement, it was just a thought I had. If anyone else has thoughts/responses on this I'm happy to hear them.
