I love the Sonic anime and the franchise has interesting lore, but I don't like the Sonic games. Makes me confused about people thinking you can't like both Sonic and Genshin haha
I cried for the Fatui in one of the combat areas. I was sad for the other characters too, but that one hit me REALLY hard and was the only one to actually make me cry...
Eh, it was not THAT bad. A bit weird, but didn't last that long either
I'm talking about their designs only though. Only non-design thing I've factored a bit was for Ororon
I agree about Klee. It's the same with Qiqi though, but at least she's standard.
And Ororon should totally be a 5* - not only design wise but ALSO lore wise!
I would probably reverse Keqing's and Ningguang's rarities too, now that I think of it.
I wanted her to begin with but I'm still pissed as hell it took me 111 pulls, one Chasca and one Tighnari before I managed to get a SINGLE Ororon, meaning I couldn't even get cons as I'm now on guarantee.
^ I think it's people forgetting the quests where Shenhe transported a literal mountain by herself and Itto punched a hole through dimensional walls.
They just think Wriothesley = warrior using his fists to fight and think about his cutscenes in the Fontaine storyline which are the most recent and forget just how weak he is compared to Shenhe and Itto haha.
The fact the Shenhe and Itto stuff was in "less important" quests probably influences that too.
Like, to me no one can compare to Itto in that regard, but I can at least understand the people picking Shenhe.
It happens all the time, but never with characters you want. I wish I had that luck back when my Thoma wasn't C6 yet. I struggled so much.
Not as much as with Ororon though.
Thanks!
Oh by the way, could someone ping me if any of the people doing the guys (Ajaw included) decide to back out of the collab? I don't feel like drawing a girl or something too random like saurians
Reminder that Itto punched a hole through "dimensions"
Sad, I was asleep and all interesting things are taken... Oh well
I can safely say no matter how he speaks I'd still love him!
@/LinzerChiori aaaah! It was indeed that! Thank you!
Well yeah, but like... I get that it's related to this, but I still don't get the exchange itself, basically?
It may be a case of "English is only my 4th language and I sometimes get brain-farts with it" lmao
Yeah! Apparently he invited the Traveler to play cards with him, and asked the cat to mess the play by jumping on the table, and if the cat agrees, he'd supply it with fish lmao (the birthday post gives context)
Well, she has the "dramatic" aspects Furina has and like the internal monologues and stuff which I find very annoying the way it's portrayed in both of them. And I hate Faruzan's "young granny" trope and how condescending she often appears and how she considers herself superior to everyone around and what not. AAAND Citlali basically shares that kind of tropes and aspects with her too.
So you combine two of the most annoying characters to me and the result is Citlali lmao.
I also think that as opposed to every other Natlan character she's just... well, I hate to say it that way, but to me she's ugly. I don't like to use that word but like, no matter how I could sugarcoat it, I just hate her face haha. And her outfit bothers me too - especially the weird rings on her head.
Now, the design is less important than personality and I can like a character even if I dislike their design... but since I already really dislike her personality, then the design just makes it worse.
And to bring back that point about nagging Ororon - well, I don't even care that much on account of loving Ororon because she doesn't do it out of malice and she obviously sincerely cares about him. But it's the kind of nagging that bothers me. If any of the other characters or even an NPC was her "grand-child figure" and she acted like that towards them, it would bother me the same. The fact she believes so strongly she "knows best" that it seems it takes a lot of time for her to consider alternatives. And I know she doesn't always exactly believe that, but she still acts as if she did - it makes it seem trying to enforce her opinion is basically her first instinct. So it's not as much about Ororon than it is about the fact she acts like that at all?
She reminds me of one of my friends' mother in that regard. My friend is the same age as me - we're both adults - but her mother seems to consider she is always right about everything simply on account of being her mother. Like, she doesn't seem capable of accepting sometimes her daughter can be the one who's right because "by virtue of her being the mother, she is right". The only way for her to admit my friend may be right on something is if another person her own age or older tells her the same thing.
Not really? I mean, I guess that aspect doesn't help, but no, that's rather the small cherry on top of a mountain of stuff I dislike lmao.
She's like the nightmare fuel combination of Faruzan and Furina to me - both characters I strongly dislike. I didn't need a mix of both haha.
I also hate her design, but that in itself wouldn't be that big of a deal if not for the personality.
Yeah but even that is very short flight distance. The saurians are waay more convenient in that case
Yeah, that's why I was thinking of that!
^ Same lmao
