Honestly I wish Paimon cough - emergency food - cough was playable, but it's too unlikely

This is my first time when I'm talking with someone and Paimon Pops out but my character doesn't change to Traveler

Is it a Glitch or is that normal?

I thought it was pretty well written, considering I haven't worked on it in a while.

This was written before Bedtime Story, so some things will be inaccurate.

365 days left

Until the golden haired traveler dies.

He will become one with the stars.

But for the moment, Aether lives on borrowed time.

He doesn't know where to begin. Or what to say. Or what to do.

Nowhere he goes feels like home unless it is by his other half. His twin, somewhere out there.

Yet, Aether has many beautiful memories on Teyvat. He will have to spend his remaining days traveling, walking and walking until his legs buckle and he collapses into the unforgiving ground.

Absorbing the beauty of all the nations he sees, knowing it's the last time he'll ever see them.

His final journey begins, alongside his traveling companion, who is brighter than all the stars combined.

Day 17

Aether walks past the quaint villages.

"Where are you headed, young man?" the locals ask. "You seem lost."

He smiles as serenely as he can.

"I don't quite know. I'm going somewhere, somewhere far. But I suppose it doesn't matter to me."

A young girl tugs on his cape. "Isn't traveling tiring? Don't forget to go home after your adventures."

Aether bent down to stroke her hair. "Don't worry about me. Worry about your family, alright? I know you enjoy adventuring just as much." Paimon follows his lead and gives her a cuddly hug.

The locals don't seem convinced. But it doesn't seem as if they could do anything. So they wave back at him as he walks away.

Day 147

"Paimon's going to miss you."

Aether laughed a little.

"Hey, I'm not gone yet. Let's enjoy our time as it lasts."

Yet that doesn't reassure Paimon. She doesn't let her distress show, but it builds up each day.

"W-Well, when you meet your end, Paimon will be there all the way! No matter what!"

The Traveler sits upwards to embrace his companion in an overwhelming hug. He buries his head in her shoulder, trying to hide his tears.

"Wait- Don't cry on me! Because.." Paimon sniffs, "It's going to make Paimon cry too! And Paimon doesn't want to cry once your entire journey.."

"Thank you.. Thank you so much." He's laughing through his tears suddenly, because he's scared stiff and doesn't want to leave so soon.

Day ???

He doesn't know how long it has been.

He hates the constant fear of not knowing when he'll be gone. He's scared he hasn't soaked in everything to the fullest.

In fact, it's become so agonizing that he just wants to deliver the final blow himself. To grab his sword and impale it through his chest. Why couldn't the countless waiting be over? Ticking his head like a clock, testing his mentality with each tick until his heart wanted to implode.

His borrowed time.. is a curse on his mind.

Day ???

"Brother, look at this mess you have gotten yourself into." Her skin was cold like marble, her eyes as deadened as wilted flowers.

She continues on in her airy voice. "365 days. No more, no less."

Aether doesn't move.

"I wonder.. if you really loved me, why did you never come back for me?" His voice cracked like weathered stone.

Her voice catches in her throat.

He doesn't need a further explanation, staring mournfully into her broken eyes.

Day 339

He wants to die.

He's more than ready.

After so much waiting.

The stars are so alluring to him now.

Day 355

Now, a reassuring emptiness breathes in his soul.

Aether feels his end coming, and he's willing to accept it to its full value.

Day 365

"Your time is done."

Aether doesn't remember anything else that happened that day.

He remembers seeing a vast, deep blue river filled with Inteyvat flowers. The clouds were puffy and soft, surrounding and shrouding the water like mist.

And he can't quite place what the figure that spoke to him.. looked like. It looked familiar yet unfamiliar, and never settled on a specific form.

"The stars are waiting for you."

His heart beats, knowing it'll be the last time it ever will beat.

But a calm tranquility flooded his senses.

This was his destiny, from the very beginning he was born.

To become one with the stars.

The lone traveler breathes in, knowing he has no more regrets or hopes to weigh in his heart as he fades away.

He's seen it all. It's time to leave.

But as he fades away, he sees a lone figure.

Golden hair billowing in the wind, amber eyes welling with tears.

Aether whirls to her in shock

She approaches him, holding a hand out for him to reach.

In his last moments.. He reaches for her hand.

At last, Aether..

finally fades into the stars.

I had a busy weekend, so I didn’t have time to do any

The three books are for today (Tuesday), Sunday, and Saturday as I don’t do these on Mondays.

Speaking of not doing these, I’m not posting tmrw either cuz I’m busy with fencing class.
