Is it only a me thing, or do you guys also have way worse luck with the strongbox than with farming the domains?
Artifact RNG is evil in general, sure, but everytime I use the strongbox, it's at least 10 times as evil as in the domains, only giving me defense and HP pieces for sets I don't need these stats for. I had some good luck when I used it to get Crimson Witch pieces for Diluc a long time ago, but it was for like 3 pieces, and aside from these three, it has only been abysmal.

I did get a decent circlet but the mainstat is atk instead of cdmg :(
So ive never done it before but the first time i touch it this happens

For me it seems to be a terrible Idea to use them, because you basically sacrifice three 5 Star artifacts in the hope to get an actually good artifact. Wouldn't it be much better to use the bad artifacts for their exp instead of putting them into that gamble box?
And what if I would put a leveled artifact in it (I actually dont know if that is possible or not), will the extra exp go to waste right?
Moga: I can see new players using the artifact strongbox system. But I don't think I'll continue using it.
Mtashed: Early on, maybe not. But at this point in the game, (yes)
Is it even worth converting 3 of you shitty 5* artifacts for a possibly better one at a specific artifact set?
I feel like you're wasting resins by doing it. I mean, you could just use those crappy 5*s as exp fodder.
