Disclaimer: I don't think they'll actually add this because it would involve reworking dozens of kits, but it's fun to imagine. We might get it for Snezhaya and Khaen'riah though

The Fontaine characters have an Arkhe alignment (Pneuma / Ousia) which allows them to shut down certain enemies or interact with certain puzzles, and the Natlan characters all have the Nightsoul's Blessing state which makes them more effective against certain enemies and gives them cool exploration features mimicking their tribe's saurian.

So what if the other nations had similar things? I feel like Sumeru's would somehow be connected to the Withering / those dendro sigil things / aranara and maybe the desert characters would have different abilities than the ones in the forest.

I could see Khaen'riah characters having abyss tainted vision powers and being able to interact with certain puzzles that way. (Honestly kind of hoping abyss twin becomes playable at some point)

So to start off, Albedo things!!

1) The flower particle in the middle of his flower is a spiral, feat my horrible diagram and no knowledge of which way it actually spirals, but you get the point.

As u can see, it's gradient from blue to white to yellow. The particles' colors are dependent on how far it is from the flower- yellow furthest away and blue closest.

2) Albedo's flower/star symbols in his moveset are oddly similar to the geo burst pulse effect.

3) Chevreuse and Charlotte share similar colors in their outfits. Another W for the Fontainian 'ch' gang :) (again this is NOT A SHIP!!! i think it's a nice color palette and interesting that the colors are similar.)

4) Xianyun really likes low back reveal for outfits, huh? You know what they say, if they like a style they stick to it. jk i made that up nobody says that (also I SWEAR I remember Xianyun's the one who also made Ganyu and Shenhe's default outfits I hope I'm not hallucinating it-)

5) In the Silken Courtyard Teapot Layout, 2D animated white cranes fly in front of the sun.

6) Fontainian weapons when held by other characters will have no special design effects, but when used by a Fontainian who has an Arkhe alignment, a specific crystal (typically teardrop-shaped) on it will have a special multicolored outline w/ either an Ousia or Pneuma special swirl around it. (Ousia outline: Blue to hot pink, Pneuma outline: Pastel purple to pale yellow. Ousia swirl: Large purple blobs with darker particles, Pneuma swirl: Almost radiating white energy with sparkles/rays of light)

7) In the Character Selection Screen, the ripples around the characters' feet actually do correlate to whether their feet are actually touching the 'ground' or not and where. This includes step ripples for entering animations that step forwards (like Chevreuse's) and jumping (like Amber's & Yoimiya's), likely also applies to other idles that have more than a minor foot position shift

And that's it! I'm sorry if this counts as image spam, but I really wanted to share this :) it's really cool that the devs put in so much work to tiny details that really just kinda make the game feel well loved and as if much effort and care was put into it. Which it was! So I'm glad the details match the amount of awesomeness the team has in making this game.

What small details have you noticed about characters? Try to think of things other players wouldn't notice/haven't really taken note of ;)

Is Furina a healer or not? Cuz when I did her test run, she healed me, but when I was doing the Misty Dungeon thingy, she didn’t heal at all

Was checking her page, and seems like it has to do with the Arkhe thing? Can someone explain that to me cuz I literally do not understand any of that 💀

After I do the Archon Quest (the current one), I'm gonna do a challenge where I water walk to Inazuma. And don't worry.... I'll screenshot proof every 10 mins fo doing it so you know I didn't cheat.

My question is.... who wants to be pinged when I do it?

And what Furina should I use?

Pneuma-aligned or Ousia-aligned?

So, they released drip marketing for Furina's "dark form" (I don't know what to call it), and it appears that she now has a vision replacing the jewel-thingy on her normal outfit.

Setting aside the main question (why an Archon has a vision), I noticed that it has a unique design compared to other Fontaine visions.

I initially believed that it had a Pneuma aligned design, because of the cross like-design at the top and bottom, but after looking closer, it is different.

Pneuma visions have the left "wing" (the things on the side of a Fontaine vision) pointing upwards, while the right "wing" is pointing downwards. However, Furina's vision has the left "wing" pointing downwards, and the right "wing pointing" upwards, which is what a Ousia aligned vision possesses. Also, Furina's vision has four little spikes on it. I don't believe any other Fontaine vision has this.

I'm sure we'll find out in a few days' time, but I'm curious as to why this is.

When it's 12 PM and Alef is awake:

Alef: HAHAHFBLSNCK NOW I'M AN EMO DEPRESSED SPY WHO KNOWS EVERYTHING IN TEYVAT.

This side of him is the emo depr- I mean Pneuma side of him.

His arkhe is still Ousia in this side but when his Ousia came in contact with an Ousia-aligned energy, an very ironic Annihilation reaction will be triggered.

The 2 sides of him is the same as Furina's (so that's why he can see the other side of her).

I just want to feel special :)

Hi! A few days ago, I posted my first image of my Genshin OC, Evelyne. While I have yet to make more art for her, she’s basically a runaway kid from Fontaine who now lives in the Sumeru wilderness and has a bee motif. Below are just a few ability ideas that I had for her:

Element: Dendro

Attack: Sweet Sting (Sword)

• Normal: Performs up to five consecutive attacks with her sword

• Charge: Performs two powerful stabs forward at the cost of stamina.

• Plunge: Normal dive, deals splash damage around her.

Skill: Bumble Tumble

• Tap: Summons a swarm of three dendrobees, which zoom to targets and deal one instance of Dendro DMG.

• Hold: Command the swarm to pinpoint one target, dealing more damage together. This attack also deals pneuma-aligned damage when arkne energy is charged. Requires a longer recharge.

Burst: Fly Right In! - Takes off into the air and plunges back down, creating a massive AOE Dendro attack.

Sprint: Dashes as a swarm of bees that can go through smaller enemies at the start of her sprint.

1st: That Stings - Anyone stung by a Dendrobee is stunned for 5s. This can happen once every 10s, and cannot happen at all to more powerful opponents.

4th: Queen of the Swarm - After using her elemental burst, the immediate area generates up to four dendrobees. The radius of her plunge increases as well.

Utility: Summergale Pastimes - When fishing in Sumeru, Evelyne provides a 12% chance of catching double the fish.

Specialty: Runaway’s Refuge (Lambad Fish Roll)

Favorite food: Sumeru Rose petals. Sometimes she’ll treat herself by garnishing them on top of fish.

Least favorite food: Exodic Fontane cuisine. Tartare and Vessie Chicken are two particular dishes she despises.

Flow Breaker

Normal Attack:

Performs up to 6 consecutive shots with a bow.

Charged Attack:

Perform a more precise Aimed Shot with increased DMG. While aiming, flowing water will accumulate on the arrowhead.

Level 1: A fully charged torrential arrow will deal Hydro DMG.

Level 2: Five Steam Rings are formed dealing extra AoE Hydro DMG. This also applied the Steam Break stack.

Plunging Attack:

Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Gentle Gatling

Steaming waves covered Alef's bow, turning it into the Glow Gun.

Press

Alef spun his bow, dealing Hydro DMG to surrounding enemies.

At the same, his bow turned into the Glow Gun and applied the Steam Break stack.

Hold

Absorbing some of Alef's HP, while spinning his bow, Alef will summon waves of waters dealing AoE Hydro DMG then he cleans up the enemies with a swift Aqua Slash with his newly formed gun. After that, a Clearwater Droplet will be generated near to Alef. If he picks it up, he will restore 25% HP.

Arkhe: Ousia

After using Aqua Slash, at certain intervals, Alef will unleash a Surging Blade that pierces through opponents, dealing Ousia-aligned Hydro DMG.

Steaming waves covered Aleph's bow, turning it into the Glow Gun.
