They can be found in every region just more common in Inazuma and natlan I think

They got added back in like 2.1 or something I think. They're the monsters who were rampaging about in Razor's quest we just didn't see them.

Well like I said the rift wolves weren't added into the game yet so they wouldn't be in a story quest at that point lol

The rifthounds were added in Wolvendom back in 2.4
