Xingqiu is a bully??? 😭😭

^ His entire relationship with Chongyun is very toxic "friend" behavior with genuine bullying. The worst part is that such things were so normalized IRL that a lot of people genuinely don't see it, or don't register it as bullying, then they will tell you "it's normal" as if you were in the wrong for actually noticing it... which is the exact problem I'm talking about. As someone who suffered from severe bullying during my entire childhood, his entire "thing" is extremely triggering and basically abysmally awful.

^ If anything, that was one of the mildest things he did (though still wrong). I still recall his birthday when he secretly added Jueyun chiliies to food meant for his "old friends" for fun. Which is already mean spirited and outright dangerous to begin with, but all the more so because it most certainly included Chongyun, and well, spicy food is like really bad for him.

Xingqiu is genuinely mean spirited and takes fun in the harm he causes. Which is basically what a lot of bullies do.

I have a soft spot for Xingqiu cuz there was a period back during 1.x where he used to be my favorite character due to his mischievousness and fondness for reading. I don't think he's that mean of a person but to each their own. Xingqiu is still a character I like, but nowadays he's just overshadowed by other characters who have some similar aspects like Miko or Chevreuse.
