They are all have DEF main stat!!!! Every single artifact (expect the flower and plume which can't have DEF main stat)

It even hates itself

And I got yet another useless one.

^ mayhaps it'll roll crit dmg as the 4th stat. cope

...or not. do 4 star pieces have 3 substats max?

No they don't, they have 4 stats max like 5 stars.
